“I live here in the Presidio!”
Hi there! I’m Julie, owner of JB Walking Tours and I have lived in the Pilots Row neighborhood of the Presidio, (literally across from the Golden Gate Bridge!) for the past 8 years.
I was previously the General Manager of the Presidio Officers’ Club, the most historic building in the Presidio. I “retired” in 2019.
I lead tours in other parts of San Francisco, but of course my favorite place to show visitors is the Presidio, through the park as well as the Golden Gate Bridge!
I am a native of the Bay Area, a graduate of the International Tour Management Institute and a member of the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild. My background is in event logistics management, volunteer management and visitor engagement.
I love meeting new people and taking them on walks while telling them stories about this historical, magical park I call home.
Join me! Since we are all outdoors, a mask is not required (bring one though— it does help keep you warm on those cold and foggy days!), we’ll walk some, then I might pour you a warm beverage… but mostly we’ll “talk story” .
