We walk a social pace, with some gradual hill climbs.

Join us on a friendly paced walking tour of the Presidio in San Francisco leading to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Our public tours are limited to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure seamless communication.

The journey commences at the Lombard Gate (refer to “Important Details” link) before we leisurely traverse through the Letterman Digital Arts Center campus. An essential highlight includes encountering the legendary Yoda along the way. Engage in exploring various historic neighborhoods, witnessing the evolving scenery while delving into the rich history and landmarks of the Presidio, including a stroll through the transformative Presidio Tunnel Tops. Discover tales of past soldiers and families who resided here, alongside insights into contemporary life in this vibrant locale.

After a visit to the National Cemetery, our journey continues as we head across the street to the Battery Bluffs. Here, we'll regale you with curious stories and present you with a breathtaking view of the bay. As we proceed along the path, we'll pass by the cavalry stables, where we'll delve into the intriguing history of the Buffalo Soldiers and their time in the Presidio.

Upon reaching the Crissy Field overlook, prepare to be mesmerized by even more awe-inspiring vistas. Finally, we will meander through the historic Pilot’s Row neighborhood, where we'll relax in my yard, exchange tales, and perhaps indulge in some casual people-watching while enjoying beverages.

Our expedition concludes with captivating stories at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Feel free to continue your explorations at your leisure from this point onward. **Please note that this tour involves a one-way walk, so please plan your return accordingly!
